JERRI LAURA STRANG

Jerri Laura Strang passed on peacefully on February 12, 2009 at White Plains Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Jerri fought her illness to the end with her spirit never failing. Jerri was born April 26, 1968 in Peekskill, NY to Jerry and Laura (Gasparro) Piamonte. She was a graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School and recently worked for O'Connor & Redd law firm in White Plains.Jerri is survived by her son Anthony, fiancé Louis Tiberi and his daughter Adrianna, Mother, Laura Piamonte of Peekskill, brother Anthony Piamonte of Buchanan, Sisters, Rosanne (Edward) McGinnis of Buchanan, and Isabel (Larry) Gallo of Cortlandt Manor, Nephews Rich and Joey Gallo, and Nieces Danielle and Deanna Piamonte. She was predeceased by her father Jerry Piamonte in 1981. Jerri was devoted to her son Anthony who was the light of her life. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed everyday. The loss of Jerri will be irreplaceable.Reposing at the Cortlandt Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday 10 AM at the Assumption Church in Peekskill, NY. Interment will be Private. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
