Francis A. Reagan of Yonkers died on Friday November 16, 2012 at age 91. He was born on August 3, 1921 to Frank and Margaret (Shost) Reagan in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Gorton HS in 1939. Mr. Reagan was the Chief Housing Accountant for the Municipal Housing Authority in the City of Yonkers for over 35 years, prior to that he was the Auditor for Alexander Smith Carpet Mills. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran stationed with the Pacific Theater working as a radio/radar mechanic serving with the 867th Bomb Squad. He was discharged as a Sergeant in November of 1945. On April 18, 1948 he married Catherine Jansky in Most Holy Trinity Church; she died on January 12, 1997. Frank was a parishioner of Christ the King Church; an active member of the Amackassin Club and former member of the Chippewa Club and the 32 Club and still was an avid golfer. Mr. Reagan is survived by his daughter Donna (John) Tocco of Carmel and his son Richard (Carol) Reagan of Oneida, NY. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren Matthew, Paul, Kerri-Ann and Jennifer and 1 great grandson Connor and his brother and sister-in-law Evelyn and George Cottrell of Pelham. Frank was predeceased by his son James "Jimmy" Reagan who died on July 11, 2011 and his brother William Reagan and his sister Roseanne Nolan. Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday November 26th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Christ the King church on Tuesday November 27th at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
