Sayegh, Nazar J. Dr.
Dr. Nazar J. Sayegh M.D. an active physician at St. Joseph's Hospital in Yonkers died on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at age 53. Born on April 15, 1960 to Jamil and Jalilah Sayegh in Yonkers. Dr. Sayegh graduated from the N.Y. Medical College at St. Joseph's Hospital. In May 1989, he married Dianna Cassanova. He was a parishioner of Virgin Mary Orthodox Church. Did volunteer work as "Elvis" for many charitable events, especially at Yonkers Raceway Casino. His last performance was April, 2010. Besides his wife Dianna and his mother Jalilah, he is survived by two children, Jamil and Juliane. He is also survived by five brothers and two sisters, Nabil, Neil, Nader, Nadem, James (Nacem) Nancy and Rima. Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and "Elvis Presley fans". Visiting hours will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Virgin Mary Church Orthodox Church on Wednesday, May 15th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations may be made to his church.
