Kenneth Berwick Obituary
Kenneth J. Berwick, 76, passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2013 with his loving family by his side. He was born in White Plains, NY on February 17th, 1937 to John and Irene (Light) Berwick. Ken graduated from White Plains High School in 1955. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Ken met the love of his life, Amelia Torres, also known as Dolly, and they married on October 2, 1960. Ken, Dolly and their family moved to Nyack and stayed until 1974, then moved to Stony Point where they have resided ever since. Ken was an avid bowler, having bowled his first 300 game at the age of 74, and also enjoyed golfing. He was a family man who was especially devoted to his 5 grandsons. He will be missed by all who knew him. Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Dolly; his 2 loving children Kenneth Jr. (Janice) and Susan Berwick (Brendan); his 5 cherished grandsons: John, Nicholas, Brian, Timothy, and Ryan; and his identical twin brother, Robert (Margaret); as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 20th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point, NY. There will be a private cremation to follow.

Robert, I saw Kenneth's obituary in today's Journal News. Saddened to read of his passing. I still have memories of the Post Road School days, and WPHS, too.I can still picture the two of you and your parents, and Quimby Avenue., Not sure if I can attend the visitation times.
