DeFelice Sr., Raymond J.

Raymond J. DeFelice Sr. of Suffern, NY passed away April 30, 2015 at the age of 89. Born March 20, 1926 in Stanford, CT to John and Angelina DeFelice. Ray was 1 of 6 children, and was a WW II Navy veteran. He also was a Harvest Moon Ball Winner for Tango, on the Ed Sullivan Show for dancing, co-founder of od solitron competitor to Texas Instruments, Entrepreneur in owning stationary stores and his own dance studio. His hobbies were dancing, golf, and playing with his grandchildren. Ray was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Suffern. He had an unbelievable sense of humor and wit, and was formerly married to Mary Panaro. He was best known as Dadio, or Tango Ray this is a man that lived life to the fullest, a man who was deeply loved and respected by many. His wit and smile will sorely be missed. He is survived by his two children, Raymond DeFelice Jr., and Kimberly DeFelice, and his 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Sophia, Nicholas, and Christopher and was predeceased by 1 grandchild, Anthony. Raymond's Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern. Friends may call on Tuesday from 7-9 PM at the Scarr Funeral Home, Route 202, Suffern.
