Carozza, Paul D.

Paul D. Carozza, a lifelong Yonkers resident, passed away on February 11, 2016 at the age of 82. Paul proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War stationed on the USS Hornet. Paul was a former Yonkers Police 1st Grade Detective as well as the longest serving President of the Yonkers PBA. He also was the former President of the Metropolitan Police Conference of NY State representing over 48,000 members. Along with his Brothers in Blue, he volunteered through the Community of Mayors of NY State Organization and dedicated numerous hours working with disabled children. He was a lifelong member of the VFW Lowerre Post 3083. Beloved husband of Rose (nee DePalma). Dear father of Paul (Yvonne), Mark and the late Robert (Anna). Loving brother of Gloria Cimaglia, Judy Dean and Jean Dos Santos. Cherished grandfather of Jacqueline, Michael and his beloved Gabriella. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory can be made to your favorite children's charity. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church with Entombment following at Ferncliff Cemetery. The family will be present Monday from 2-9 pm at F.
