Maureen Walpole Obituary
Maureen Walpole nee Marray formerly of Blauvelt, NY sadly passed away on May 29th, 2016 at the age of 70. Maureen was born in the Bronx to the late Eleanor and John Marray. She graduated from St. Helena High School and Rockland Community College. She worked for Chrysler Corporation for many years. Maureen was devoted to her family and a very large group of dedicated and fun loving friends.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband Peter of 49 years. She is also survived by her beloved children Peter (Denyse) and Jeanne-Marie (George) and her cherished grandchildren Chloe, Dermot and Colin, her brother John Marray (Rosalind), sister Marie Waldron and brother Richard Marray, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 10:30 am, at St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt with burial to follow at St. Anthony's in Nanuet. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, 7-9pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan.

A sad day for all of us who knew Maureen well. I worked with Maureen for 11 years in Tappan and she was my administrative assistant for two years and if it were not for her, the department would have not run as smoothly as it did. Maureen was always upbeat,had a smile on her face and never let anything get to her. She will truly be missed by so many whose lives she touched. Our hearts go out to her family.

So sorry for your loss. Maureen and I worked at Chrysler for many years; in fact, she was the person who interviewed me for my position there. She was always there for help if you needed it and enjoyed her family, friends and co-workers.
