Raymond Yturraspe Obituary
AGE: 77 • Larchmont
Raymond D. Yturraspe, of Larchmont, NY, beloved husband of Patricia Yturraspe (nee Gleason), passed on October 25, 2016 while surrounded by his loving family. Ray was born in New York City on October 17, 1939 to Andres and Juanita Yturraspe formerly of Mundaka, Spain. Devoted father of his "two favorite daughters" Susan Yturraspe and Patricia Buonadonna (husband Joseph) and cherished Aitxitxe of Joseph R., Michael A. and Daniel P. Buonadonna. Ray was the youngest sibling to Andres Yturraspe and Anne Lopez. In his lifetime career as a salesman he was widely known in the Marine Electronics and Yachting Industries as the General Manager of both Dufour USA Inc. and Barberis Yachts. An avid sailor and former Larchmont Yacht Club Member, he enjoyed sailing with his family and friends on Long Island Sound and from Larchmont to Rhode Island. To honor Ray's life, family and friends will gather on Friday, October 28th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck (914-698-5968). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 10am, Saints John & Paul R. C. Church in Larchmont. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago IL 60611-3201. I met Ray and Patricia (his wife) and daughters
in the summer of 1975....introduced by my husband Roy at a boat exposition...From that day on a friendship of 40+years began.
My deepest sympathy to you my dear friend Patricia and to your daughters Susan and Pat.
We will always remember Ray.
