Everett Hale, Jr.
Left here on October 31, 2010 surrounded by his loved ones. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He decided to meet his Heavenly Father and be reunited with all of his loved ones. He was at peace, surrounded by family.
Everett was born in Fort Branch, Indiana on December 29, 1926 to Luvina and Everett Hale, Sr.. He came to Lompoc in 1963 after serving in Germany in the Army Air Corp. and Air Force between from 1948 - 1968. He also carried mail for the United Sates Postal Service and was known on his route as "Happy." He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 211.
He is survived by his daughters Maria Turner (C.W) of Lompoc and Linda Worcester of Lompoc; grandchildren Clay Turner (Yvette), Angela Worcester, Shelli Barlow and Anthony Worcester, all of Lompoc; great-grandchildren Jasmine Gordon of Virginia, Phillip Rominger of Lompoc, Jocelyn and Clancy Turner of Lompoc; great-great-granddaughter Adia Gordon of Virginia; and his buddies Tinker and RJ Worcester of Lompoc; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Hale in September of 2009.
He enjoyed Coors beer, coin collecting, horse racing and all the ladies at Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 11th at 3:00pm at the Lompoc Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at Nana's house.
