Jim and I work together. Whenever I saw him, he always had a smile, kind words and even bailed me out of some labor issues several times. He will truly be missed. I know you all have allot of wonderful memories, continue to hold on to them, especiallyduring those hard times. May the power of God continue to bless this family, through their times of sorrow.

I knew Jim only from work, but we had many hours of conversation together. He always talked of family and retirement and was looking forward to spending his golden years with family. I am sorry for your loss.

Jim was a terrific family man and friend. He loved cycling and the challenge of the hills and wind of Lompoc and the entire Valley. I already miss not riding with him and sharing coffee and stories at Starbucks. Keep an eye out for us on the road, Jimmy. Miss you.

Jim had the ability to make you laugh when you needed it the most. His generousity was evident through his donations to the CASA Kids Christmas program, helping friends move or even dog sitting. He loved his wife and children very much and they dominated his conversations. Wiggles and I will miss him very much. I thank God for people like Jim - they give us hope and comfort.

"Jim & I met through his brother in law Roy on a recent fishing trip to Valdez Alaska. He was an amazing person full of life and loved fishing. He was very funny and made us laugh. We had a great time and he talked a lot about his family and how much he loved them. He had such a positive outlook on the future that was contagous. He was a wonderful individual and he will be missed. If there is a heaven, he will be there fishing. I am very sorry for your loss"

I enjoyed sitting around the campfire with Jim. He was the kind of guy who cared for others and was always eager to lend a helping hand. Jim had a positive outlook on the world and took a sincere interest in other people and their plight in life. We have lost a wise, caring, and noble man.
