Lorayne Hauenstein Obituary

Lorayne Hauenstein
Lorayne Hauenstein, a long-time resident of Lompoc passed away February 6 - exactly 13 years to the day she lost her husband of 56 years, Ed Hauenstein. She and Ed moved to the Lompoc valley in 1947 and started Valley Tractor Company. Lorayne was born in Santa Ana, California on April 23, 1922.
She is survived by her two children: Tom Hauenstein of Lompoc and Janet Dawson of Irvine, California and two grandchildren Todd Hauenstein of Orcutt and Erin Dawson of Yucaipa, California.
Lorayne volunteered at the Second Time Around Thrift Store and was a member of the Lompoc Valley Historical Society.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 9 at 10:30am at the Lompoc Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lompoc Historical Society, P.O. Box 88, Lompoc, CA 93438.

Janet and Tom. I sorry to here the passing of your Mother. She was a great lady and always had fun talking to her at the Budget Cafe. Your mother is now with your father out on the Lorayne fishing in the deep blue ocean and enjoying there lost time. God Bless to all of you.

hard to put into words the sadness I feel at the loss of Lorayne... she was a mentor, friend and loved one....we were together on s many of lives roads... hard to do without her....my love Carol Ann and family
