Mary Patterson Obituary
Mary Jo Patterson passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011 surrounded by her family. "Jo" was born in Winslow, Arkansas on December 8, 1938.
She is survived by her husband of over 54 years, David A. Patterson, of Santa Maria; son Phillip Patterson, of Aurora, Colorado; and daughter Terri Finklestein, of Vallejo, California. She is also survived by her sister Judy Wagner, brother Robert Lyons, two grandchildren (Tara Hendricks and Teto Alvarez), two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Burl" and Dorothy G. Lyons, and a sister, Allene Uhalley.
Her lifelong joys included spending time with family, camping, gardening, 'feeding her critters' (primarily hummingbirds, bluejays, chipmunks, and deer) - but she especially loved fishing and hunting. She also enjoyed crafting, cooking/baking and traveling. She will forever be remembered for many things, but especially her love of friends and family, and sense of humor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the Chapel of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary at 11:00 a.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary Crematory and Memory Gardens.

I will always remember Jo because she was a very sweet, thoughtful lady, had a great sense of humour, and her White Chocolate Fudge at Christmas. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers/

My mom was one of a kind and will live forever in our hearts. On behalf of the family, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support. She was loved by many and a friend to all.
