Revelina Libonao Obituary

Revelina Menciro Libonao
Revelina Menciro Libonao of Lompoc died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the age of 76.
Revelina was born December 22, 1933 in the Philippine Islands.  She came to the United States and settled in Lompoc in 1954.  She worked for Aratex Industrial for 30 years, retiring in 1996.  She was a longtime member of the Filipino American Club in Lompoc and an active member of La Purisima Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Revelina is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Renee L. and Charles Vandborg of Clovis; her son and daughter-in-law Roman and Lalita Libonao of Costa Mesa; her grandchildren Duane Vandborg, Gail Moore, Loren Howell and Melissa Miller; and her great-grandchildren Tyler Swofford, Macy Moore and Jason Miller.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Roman Libonao, Sr. in 1993, and her children Mary and Greg Howell.
The visitation will be on Sunday, September 26, 2010, from 3:00pm-7:00pm in the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  The evening vigil will start at 5:30pm.  The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 27, at 10:00am at the La Purisima Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
