OSTRANDER, RUBY, 75, of Louisville, KY, passed peacefully with her family nearby on Saturday, January 5, 2013 after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara; and her son, James Kelly.
She is survived by her son, Kevan; her daughter, Edie; her niece, Kathy; her grandchildren, Stephan, Sydnie and Isaac; and friends and extended family too numerous to mention.
A memorial is planned in lieu of visitation and funeral services and information will be forthcoming.
The family asks that those wishing to honor her life and memory at this time do so by way of a contribution to the Crusade for Children, long one of her favorite causes.
She will be missed here on earth by all those touched by her passion and her laughter.
