Carol Alvey Obituary

ALVEY, CAROL JEAN, 58, of Boston, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.

Mrs. Alvey was born on June 16, 1955 to the late Bill Phelps and Carol Mattingly in Nelson County, Kentucky. She was a member of Stockholm United Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jimmy R. Alvey; daughter, Lisa Alvey McCall (Bill); son, James Alvey (Jena); brother, Billy Phelps (Beth) and Jerry Phelps; grandchildren, Wendy and Brandon Alvey, Thomas Ward and Kristen Quick; great-grandchildren, Haylee and Michael Elmore, Kaytlyn Deckar, Logan Hunter and Little Dustin.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy., at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemerery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and on Friday from 1-8 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society.
