HURRIGAN, JOSEPH T., 67, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014.
He was a retired Truck Driver, an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Silver Star, Purple Heart, 1 O/S Bar and Combat Infantryman Badge, and an avid UofL Cardinal fan.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia Hurrigan; mother, Margaret Davis; children, Beverly Smalley, Dayna Jones, Kaphne Harris, Joseph T. Jr., and Marc Hurrigan; siblings, Thomas L., Ronald P. and Larry Hurrigan, Richard and Clarence Ellery, Margaret Duncan, Kimberly Walker, Francis J. Smalley, Nellie Logan, Rebecca Young, Phyllis Edwards, Antoinette Bell and Delores Perry; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at A.D. Porter & Sons-Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Rd., with burial in Ky. Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff, KY. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
