George Moseley Obituary

MOSELEY, GEORGE ROBERT "BOB" JR., passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at his home.

Born in Versailles, KY, on January 8, 1927 to Christine and George Robert Moseley, he was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy and the University of Kentucky where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He volunteered for military service on his 17th birthday and served in the US Navy during World War II. His career with General Electric spanned 35 years.

Bob is survived by his wife, "Sudie," the former Mary Orr Smith Shelton of Paducah; and sons, George Robert (Rob) and James Alexander (Alex) Moseley; sister, Roberta Fischer and her husband, Carl T. Fischer Jr., and their daughter, Sarah Foster of Great Falls, VA.

He was a loyal Kentucky Wildcats fan, a member of Second Presbyterian Church and the Louisville Boat Club.

Burial was private. Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Kentucky Humane Society.
