Hagan, Mary Bernadine  
Hagan, Mary Bernadine , 79, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was born August 18, 1935 in Loretto to the late John Kolbert and Ruth Smith Corbett. She was a retired employee of Taylor Drug Store in Louisville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Mae Mudd. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Carl Hagan; two daughters, Carla Crecelius (Mike) and Ruth Ann Hagan all of Louisville; one son, Jerry Hagan (Debbie) of Mount Washington; three sisters, Lois Gill (Bill) of Louisville, Nannie Rose Hill (Buddy) of Loretto and Jeannine Warren (John) of Springfield; one brother, Kenny Corbett (Jane) of Springfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 6964 Cissellville Road, Manton, KY, 40069, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Haines, Virginia  
Haines, Virginia, 99, of Louisville passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015. She was born on August 10, 1915 in Georgetown, IN. Virginia retired from AT&T in 1980 after 35 years of service. She was a lifetime member of C.W.A. and Telephone Pioneer. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Leo C. Haines; parents, Raymond and Golda Blotz; brother, Victor Blotz; and half sister, Betty Walsh. Left to cherish Virginia's memory are her children, Linda Painter and Richard Haines (Pam); grandchildren, Todd Painter (Kathy), Dominic Haines, Brittany Higdon (Chris), and Brandon Painter; great-grandchildren, Tucker Higdon, Charleigh Higdon, Harlowe Haines. There will be a visitation 11am-1pm on Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, Preston Highway, Okolona. There will be no funeral service at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Betty of 50 years and children Tracy, Roy Jr, Julie and Michael and four grandchildren; Josh, Chris, Tyler and Emily. He was a retired realtor and served in the Korean War.
