Maddox, Donna Lynn  
58, passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 21, 2016. She was a native of Anniston, AL and member of Beth Haven Baptist Church. She graduated from Mill Creek Trainable School in Louisville and won gold medals in the broad jump and softball throw at the Special Olympics. She is preceded in death by her father, James Glenn Maddox, Sr. She is survived by her mother; Thelma Louis Maddox of Radcliff, 1 brother; James Glenn (Nancy) Maddox Jr. of Radcliff; 2 nieces, Tracy Crawford and Rebecca (Phil) Newton; nephew Joseph (Natasha) Maddox II; 6 great nieces and nephews, Jacen, Justin, and Jarrod Crawford, Robert and Logan Maddox, and Dustin Chamberlain. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Friday at Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1 pm Friday. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.

Maratty, Gary Anthony, Gary Anthony Maratty, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 20, 1956 to Elizabeth Earline Maratty and the late John Albert Maratty. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Maratty and John Maratty Jr. Gary is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Earline Maratty; and siblings, Kasondra Wesley, Phyllis Newman, Denise (William) Gill and Juanita Hayden; and a host of other family members and friends. Gary's wishes were to be cremated and his family to celebrate his life privately. Arrangements under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel.

Martin, Minnie Puckett, Minnie Puckett Martin, 75, the former Minnie Fisher, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was a loving mother and grandmother, worked at Valu Tools and was a caretaker for her grandchildren. She loved U of L Sports, travel, the Boat, just having fun and a glass of wine. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Martin. Minnie is survived by her children, Theresa Black (Scott) and Steve Fisher (Lisa), grandchildren, Harrison Black and Jonathan Fisher; brothers, Jesse and Jimmy Puckett; and, a sister, June Woodcock. Maschke, George L.  
Maschke, George L., 73, passed away on April 6, 2016 at his home after an extended illness. He worked as a computer consultant for forty-five years in the Louisville area. He was known locally for his cooking, especially barbeque and home canned pickles. His quick wit and humor endeared him to many and is sorely missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Alma Maschke of Newport Richey, Florida and great-grandson Michael Rowe of Mansfield, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Maschke, sister, Anne Gallinger and husband Mel of Washington State, five children, Ms. Rick (Laura) Hazelwood of Shauck, Ohio, Ms. John (Sandra) Hollar of Weaverville, NC, George R. Maschke of Mansfield, Ohio, Jim Tomlinson of Pendleton, KY, and Ms. Greg (Sarah) Auchard of Belleville, Ohio. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service is planned for Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Lake Jericho Firehouse located at 531 Lake Jericho Road, Smithfield, Kentucky from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
