Hauber, Betty Jean (Fisher)  
New Albany Hauber, Betty Jean (Fisher), 88, of The Villages, FL, died Wednesday May 20, 2015 in New Albany, IN. She was born August 18, 1926 in Louisville, KY, to the late John Stanley and Anna Mae (Smith) Fisher and raised in New Albany. She was married for some 60 years to Harry William Hauber Jr. who died in January of this year. Betty was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, Daughters of the American Revolution and was a longtime member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Louisville and St. Mark Catholic Church at The Villages. She loved cooking and was a master at crocheting, needlepoint, sewing and knitting. She was a multiple sweepstakes winner at the Kentucky State Fair and a proud golfer with two holes-in-one to her credit. She was a great mom and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her her parents; husband; daughter, Deborah A. Sublett; and two siblings, Audrey Stith and J. Stanley Fisher. Survivors include children,Harry William "Billy" Hauber III and wife Linda; Rebecca Alter and husband Jeff; Cheri Hauber and wife Beth; John F. Hauber and wife Eileen; sister, Jo Ann Koehler; six grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, IN. A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of New Albany including a remembrance to her husband, Harry. Burial will follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky, 2509 Plantside Dr., Suite D, Louisville, KY, 40299. Haukom, Annie L.  
Haukom, Annie L., 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. She was a member of City Road Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman O.; and son, Owen. Survivors include her son, Robin Haukom(Diana); daughters, Carol Skaggs (Randell), Linda Couch and Patricia Davis (Gordon); brother, Roy Thieme (Bennie); nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. Cremation was chosen. W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.

Hazlett, Dorothy C. "Dottie"  
Hazlett, Dorothy C. "Dottie", 82, of Louisville, Kentucky went home to Jesus on May 22, 2015. She was an avid artist and swimmer. Dottie was an all-around great mom. She was an active member of Southeast Christian Church. Dottie was a long time employee of Stewart Dry Goods and Price-Weber. Dottie was born on November 12, 1932, Charleston, West Virginia to the late Donald and Kathleen Cook. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Hazlett and her sister, Jane Stewart. Dottie is survived by her children, Laura Cook, Bob Hazlett (Sandra), Lisa Marie Bolin (Dale), and Tom Hazlett (Tracey); grandchildren, Jill Blair, Andrea Bailey, Sarah Hodges, Robbie Bolin, Austen Cross, Kyle Hazlett, Lee Hazlett, and Cooper Hazlett; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Dottie's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY. on Tuesday, May 26 at 10 AM in the Chapel. Visitation will take place in the Fireside Room from 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to The Wings of Refuge, 11805 Brinley Ave, Louisville, KY 40243, ( www.wingsofrefuge.org ).
