Harding, Arvel Ray  
Harding, Arvel Ray, 86, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Baptist Health. Arvel was born in Louisville to the late Gertrude Doll and Edward B. Harding , Jr. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force where he had 32 years of service. Preceding him in death, other than his parents, was a grandson, Michael Todd Smith, and brothers, Bernie, Edward and Robert Harding. Survivors include his wife, Doris Mae Schook Harding; daughters, Gaylon Rae Smith Murphy and Deborah Rae Goodin Bowler (Tony); grandchildren, Johnnie Smith and Cameron Goodin; as well as great grandchildren, T.J., Austin, Anthony, Tristan, Cole, Alyssa and Brandon. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, where visitation will be noon - 8 PM Monday, July 6, 2015. Burial will follow the service in Fairmont Cemetery. Donations may be made to Kosair Children's Hospital in his memory. Online condolences may be directed to www.ratterman.com .

Hart M.D., William Glen  
Hart, William Glen, M.D., 65, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his home. Dr. Hart was the sixth generation of his family to practice medicine in Murray. He retired after 26 years with Hart Ophthalmology. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Murray, was a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Medical Association, the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a founding member of the Red Hand Motorcycle Club, a member of the Murray Masonic Lodge F&AM #105, the Filson Club, the Sierra Club, the Kentucky Historical Society and a brother of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He received his B.S. from Murray State University and his M.D. from the University of Louisville. Dr. Hart was born in Murray on July 25, 1949 to the late Dr. James Coleman and Elizabeth Rhea Finney Hart. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert K. Wilburn. Dr. Hart is survived by his wife Susan Conde Wilburn Hart of Murray, whom he married on May 23, 1975 in Louisville. He is also survived by one daughter, Susan Conde Hart, and one son, Wesley Jetton Hart, both of Murray; one sister, Nancy Rhea Hart, M.D. and husband William Apt of Bellingham, WA; two brothers, James Coleman Hart, Jr., M.D. and wife Catherine, and John Prince Hart and wife Sharon, all of Murray; mother-in-law, Susan H. Wilburn; two brothers-in-law, Tyree G. Wilburn and wife Denise, and Lee Wilburn and wife Julie, all of Louisville, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Murray, with Robert Valentine officiating. A private burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home., Murray. Howell, Juan D.  
Howell, Juan D., 47, passed away Friday June 26, 2015 at Norton's Hosparus Unit. Juan was a business specialist for UPS and member of St. Stephens Baptist Church. He is survived by his children; Mya Howell, Jada Howell, of Louisville and Trae Howell (Asia) of Portsmouth, VA., parents LeVon and Mary Howell and Barbara Milner of Toledo, Ohio, siblings; Darrlye Johnson, Sr. (Donna), Anthony Johnson, Lisa Howell of Toledo Ohio, and Vikki Howell-Jackson of Louisville along with two grandchildren; Trae Howell, Jr. (T. J.) and Chase Howell. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, from 11-12:30 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway with burial at 1 p.m.

Hudson, Brother Noah Lewis  
Hudson, Brother Noah Lewis, 75 of Cloverport, KY, was born August 24, 1939 to the late James Samuel Sr. and Millie McFarland Hudson and returned to his Heavenly Father July 4, 2015. Mr. Hudson was an evangelist and a member of Harvest of Jesus Christ House of Prayer. Among those who preceded him in death include his wife, Diane Faye Scherer Hudson; grandchild, Saria; several brothers, sisters, foster parents, Chester and Delta Burtram and his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Sharon Penix (Alvie), Sheila Hester (Carlos), Robin Shibley, Stephanie Cooper (Bobbie), Dennis, James (Lynn), Leslie Steven (Stacey), Ernest Lee (Melissa) and Ronald Hudson; sister, Myrtle Ziegler (Raymond); brother, Walter Hudson (Ruby); brother in-law, Earl Scherer Jr. (Judy); 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with interment in Penn Run Cemetery.
