Donald Delph Obituary

DELPH, DONALD LEE, 66, of Jeffersonville, IN, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the V.A. Medical Center.

He owned and operated convenience Stores in Boston, MA, was a proud Army veteran of Vietnam, a graduate of Trinity High School and a member of the VFW Post #1832 of Jeffersonville, IN.

He is survived by his wife, Addie Dye Delph; sister, Marcellyn Daly (Joseph), of Vienna, VA; brothers, Jerry Delph (Janelle), of Tarpon Springs, FL and Michael Delph (Sonia), of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; eight nephews, five nieces; 17 great-nieces; and five great-nephews.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church 760 Eastern Parkway with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Thursday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Hwy.

Memorial gifts may be made to American Cancer Society.

Dear Mike:
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of your brother Don. I never met Don, but from the stories you told of him, he was not only your brother, he was a best friend. May God Bless you and your family.
