Gerald Linker Obituary
He was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church, worked as a produce manager before retiring after 40 years of service with Kroger. He also was a Navy veteran.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Angela M. (Passanisi) Linker.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara L. (Clark) Linker; daughters, Terri Ferguson (Danny) and Nancy Barr; sons, Dan, Neal, Gerald W. (Yukie), and Keith (Shelly) Linker; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Dianne Bates (Jr.).
His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2009 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Ln., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home; 3800 Bardstown Road, with vigil service at 4 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to either American Cancer Society, 701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, KY 40203 or the American Lung Association, 4100 Churchman Ave., Louisville, KY 40215.
Special thanks to Leslie, Jamie, and all the staff at the Audubon Hospital I.C.U. whose personal care is greatly appreciated by Jerry's family.
