Marilyn Shaughnessy Obituary

SHAUGHNESSY, MARILYN L. , 81, of Louisville, entered into eternal rest Monday, February 22, 2010.

Marilyn was a member of the former St. Benedict Catholic Church, and had worked as a legal secretary for Hatzell and Groves.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and daughter, Suzan.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Stephen, Kevin, Patrick and John (Diana) Shaughnessy; brother, William "Corky" Poole; sisters, Lynelle Henry and Claudia Wright; aunt, Ruthie Roberts (Shirley); uncle, Ernie Waford; four grandchildren, Stephen Shaughnessy Jr., Christopher Shaughnessy, Eddie Hauber and Tricia Gwinn; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services honoring the life of Marilyn will be held noon Friday at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Kentucky Humane Society.
