Bill Fluke

FLUKE, BILL, 60, of Crestwood, KY, a fireworks aficionado, died Saturday, December 29, 2012.

A native of Ohio, he was known as "Uncle Bill" for his Independence Day fireworks in Briar Hill.

He was sales VP at Industrial Belting & Transmission and president of River City Radio Controllers. He planned RCRC's annual model aircraft show-- Wings for Kids -- to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital, raising more than $144,000 to date.

He liked Harleys, Ohio State football, World War II aircraft and Lionel model trains. He enjoyed building model planes and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; his children, Chris and Becky; and many family and friends.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Crestwood United Methodist. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Friday at Stoess Funeral Home.
