Cecil Hayword Crowder

CROWDER, CECIL HAYWORD, 83 passed away February 8, 2013.

He was a retired truck driver, a Kosair Shriner where he was a member of the Legion of Honor, a member of The Aahmed Grotto, Hillbillie Club and Masonic Valley Lodge #511, and an Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Crowder; sister, Thelon Kirk; and brother, Tony Crowder.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Donna Parks Crowder; his children, Rebecca Crowder, Mark Crowder, David Crowder (Carole) and Tim Crowder (Tammy); three stepchildren, Joel Parks, Douglas Parks (Darla) and Mike Parks (Michele); 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon, Leonard and Howard Crowder; and sisters, Beverly Cooper and Ella Mae Pruitt.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.
