Chester Dalton Vaughn

VAUGHAN, CHESTER DALTON, 87, of Louisville passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Baptist Health.

Born in Lexington, KY, he was a World War II veteran and a supervisor for the Marley Company. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #741, Jeffersontown Lodge and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Surviving is his wife, Elvera (Schlatter) Vaughn; sons, William Lawrence Vaughn (Elizabeth), Christopher Douglas Vaughn (Cindy) and Chester Dalton Vaughn Jr. (Ginny); daughters, Janet Franklyn (William), Patricia Ann Unterbrink (Ken), Terrie Lynn Vaughn (Mike); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
