Cletus Edward Fetter

FETTER, CLETUS EDWARD, 87, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Meadow View Nursing Home. He was a veteran of the US Army and the US Naval Reserve. He retired from Colgate-Palmolive after 32 years of service, was a member of the board of directors for the Transportation Club of Louisville, was a member of the American Society of Traffic and Transportation, past president of Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Fraternity and was Transportation Man of the Year in 1979. He was a member of the Rusty Wheels Club and a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church where he served as the funeral coordinator.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Price Fetter; son, Stephen M. Fetter (Vickie); daughter, Lisa A. Fetter (Peter Geraci); and brother, Sherl Fetter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 7813 Shelbyville Rd., with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd., in St. Matthews.

Memorial gifts may be made locally to St. Joseph Orphanage or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
