Franklin Fluhr

FLUHR, FRANKLIN, entered into rest on October 4, 2013.

He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam era and is retired from the Department of Juvenile Justice. Franklin was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Fluhr Sr. and Virginia Chiles, and his brother William Fluhr Jr.

Survivors include his son, Greg Fluhr; sisters, Virginia Fluhr, Kathleen Lair and Elaine Hilson; brother Raymond Fluhr; five nieces; two nephews; and a host of family and friends.

His funeral service will be on Thursday at noon at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Okolona. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY following the service.
