Garrett Lyndon Hash Sr.

HASH, GARRETT LYNDON SR., 86, of Louisville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

Mr. Hash was a United States Army veteran who served during World War II and Korea. He was a recipient of the World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Hash was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the United McDowell Methodist Church.

Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Oliver and Lydia Hash; and sisters, Jean and Helen.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Frances Hash; sons, Garrett Jr. (Patty), Tommy, Roger, Michael and John Hash; daughter, Lydia McQuinn (Steve); and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). A private burial will take place. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst.
