Gerald A. Daniels

DANIELS, GERALD A., 70, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014.

He retired from Ford Motor Company (L.A.P.) after 36 years of service and was an Army veteran and a 32nd degree Mason. He had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the outdoors.

Being an experienced hunter, he won the Kentucky Championship for three straight years in crossbow archery competition and also was an avid supporter of the Toys for Tots Bike Run.

Gerald was one who never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Daniels; and his sister, Patricia Hubbard.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Daniels; his daughter, Sherrie Shely; his mother, Viola Marie Gipson; brother, Lowell Daniels; and grandsons, Morgan Jeffries and Jacob Shely.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1-7 p.m. at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Rd., with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
