James Wilbur Brady

LEBANON - Brady, James Wilbur, 90, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013.

He was born February 8, 1923 in Raywick, KY.

Mr. Brady was a World War II Army veteran, receiving ribbons for the Asiatic Theater with 2 Bronze Stars and the American Theater. He received medals for good conduct, World War II Victory, and a Bronze Arrowhead.

Surviving are two sons, James Larry (Rita) Brady, Lebanon and David Allen (Patricia) Brady, Lebanon; four daughters, Linda Faye (Austin) Mudd, Springfield, KY, Wanda Sue (Curtis) Ice, Bardstown, KY, Patricia Ann Brady, Lebanon and Lisa Michelle Brady, Lebanon; brother, Cloyd Brady, St. Joe, KY; five sisters, Cordie Smith- Springfield, KY, Catherine Medley, Bardstown, KY, Lottie Shaw, Louisville, Theresa Shaw- Fort Myers, FL and Bernadine Spalding, Bardstown. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery. Visitations will be held after 4 p.m. Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home - Lebanon.
