John W. "Jack" Bradford

BRADFORD, JOHN W. "JACK," 90, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013.

Jack was the retired owner of Bradford Service Station for 22 years and worked for Metro Parks for 7 years.

He was a Navy veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of St. Barnabas Church, the American Legion and a charter member of the Cherokee Road Runners.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Barth and Marie Bradford; sister and brother, Mary Catherine and Jim Bradford; niece, Denise McGuire.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Seyller Bradford; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Katie and Jim Marr, Dot Kelly and Arlene Seyller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Virginia would like to give special thanks to all the nurses and aides that took care of Jack at Christopher East-everybody loved Jack! Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Barnabas Church, 3042 Hikes Lane, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road.
