Kenneth "Budd" "K.C." Fehl

LEBANON JUNCTION - Fehl, Kenneth "K.C." "Budd," 88, of Lebanon Junction, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014.

K.C. was born to Walter Fehl and Zo Mae Duncan Fehl on February 18, 1926 in Wilmont South Dakota.

He was a Navy veteran having served 23 years during World War II, Korean and Vietnam wars as Senior Chief. He then worked Navy Civil Service for 17 years in Puerto Rico before retiring in 1984.

He was also an active member of the Lebanon Junction First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Hood Fehl; his second wife, Maxine Meadows Fehl; his step-son, Dan Meadows; his parents; six sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth (Susann) Fehl, II; a grandson, Kenny (Melena) Fehl; a step-daughter, Susan (Gary) Bradbury; two step-grandsons, Todd (Shannon) Bradbury and Anthony Meadows Pacheco and a step-granddaughter, Amy Bradbury.

Funeral services will conducted Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the Lebanon Junction First Baptist Church with Rev. Jason McCray officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central. Visitation will be Thursday, May 22, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Stained Glass Window Fund, Lebanon Junction First Baptist Church.
