Marjorie Gross "Margie" Barrickman

BARRICKMAN, MARJORIE "MARGIE" GROSS, 74, formerly of Louisville, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2012 in Lexington, with her son by her side.

She was born January 5, 1938 in Breathitt County to the late Rader Gross and Malvery Gilbert Gross. She was a graduate of Eastern High School and attended Maryville College, where she was a member of Theta Epsilon Sorority.

Marjorie was a retired supervisor for South Central Bell with over 30 plus years of service and attended Heritage Church in Lexington. Margie dedicated her life to her two boys, Ricky and Rader.

She is preceded in death by her son, Ricky; and her sister, Jane Church.

She is survived by her son, Rader Barrickman (Darla); granddaughter, Laine Putteet; two brothers, Rader "Buddy" Gross and David Gross and many nieces and nephews.

Rader would like to express his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff and friends at Belmont Village, Liberty Ridge, Central Baptist Hospital and Select Care at Good Samaritan.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Pearson-Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, with burial to follow in Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery, Skylight, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
