Robert A. "Bob" Faller

FALLER, ROBERT "BOB" A., 73, of Louisville, passed away Sunday January 6, 2013.

He was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather and will be missed dearly.

Bob was the former president of Packaging Unlimited from which he retired after 30 years. He was a St. Xavier High School graduate in 1957 and was a member of the St. X Hall of Honors and the Bellarmine Hall of Fame. He served on the Board of Directors for the Little Sisters of the Poor, Munich Welding, and Audubon Country Club and was an Army veteran.

As a scratch golfer and with an intensely competitive spirit, he inspired and challenged many to be the best they could be.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Janice "Jan" Hundly Faller; his children, Robert "Bobby" Faller and Nancy Faller-Shackleton (Bill); and granddaughters, Tori and Elyse Shackleton.

His funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at St. Stephen Martyr, 2931 Pindell Ave., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to either the Little Sisters of the Poor or to the St. Xavier Tuition Fund.
