Samuel D. Accordino

ACCORDINO, SAMUEL D., 76, of Louisville, died Saturday, February 12, 2005, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. He was a native of Clearfield, PA, a retired employee of the Kentucky Ford Truck Plant, the former recording secretary for United Auto Workers Local 862, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Carter Accordino; daughters, Barbara L. Accordino and Karen A. Pinkerton (Jeff); a brother, Frank Accordino; and grandchildren, Katherine Lee Pinkerton and Alexander Accordino Pinkerton. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 299 Crestwood Lane, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville or the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
