MASTERS, JANICE ARLEAN (BLUMGREN), 72, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012.
She was born on March 9, 1940 in Sac City, IA to the late Emmett and Gladys Blumgren. She moved to Columbus in 1954, then to Fisherville, KY in 2010. She was a graduate of West High School, 1958, and The Ohio State University, School of Nursing, B.S. 1962. Janice's love for life consisted of her family, music, sewing, gardening and baking. She was a longtime member of Parkview United Methodist Church of over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lynn Blumgren. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 53 years, Robert Masters; her children, Jeffrey (Stephanie) and Michael (Kellee); three grandchildren; and her sister, Karen (Lee) Rubino.
Family will receive friends Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH. A service celebrating her life will be held at Parkview United Methodist Church, 344 S. Algonquin Ave., Columbus on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Galloway Cemetery.
