BINDNER, ANNE LEE, 71, passed away peacefully Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Nazareth Home.

She taught school at St. Clement and St. Timothy. She worked at the offices of religious education for 25 years and then was the director of religious education at St. Helen, until she retired.

She was a founding member of the House of Ruth and a member of Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Bindner and brother, Raymond "Pudgie" Bindner.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Anne Bindner (Phil) and brother, Fr. Charles Bindner; and several nieces and nephews.

Her celebration of life Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 4335 Hazelwood Ave. Visitation: 2-3:30 p.m. Monday at Nazareth Home, 2000 Newburg Road and 5-8 p.m. at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the House of Ruth, 607 E. St. Catherine St. 40203 or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
