Barbara "Jane" Hagerman Obituary
HAGERMAN, BARBARA "JANE," 76, passed away on October 3, 2012 after receiving the call from her loved ones who went before her, husband of 53 years, Herman; father, Stanley Kirkland; mother, Betty Kirkland; brother, Paul Kirkland; step-mother, Eva Cessna; and other family members and friends.

Jane was the loving mother of Deborah Charlton (Ron), Terry Hagerman (Kim), Donna Fletcher (Pat) and Kimberly Lewis (David). Jane was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Derek Van Vactor (Bridgett), Amy Cordoba (Jose), April Charlton, Rhonda Brown (Ken), Marina Shaw (Jeff), Gemma Dattilo, Kristin Fletcher, Tiffaney Russell (Rob), Dustin Lewis, and Sloan Hafling; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jane was born in Akron, OH, moved to Kentucky as a child and graduated from Livermore, Ky., High School, where she met Herman, and they began their life together in Louisville, KY. Jane was a member of Fisherville Baptist Church and was a 50 year Eastern Star member of the Valley Station, Ky. Chapter. Jane's hobbies included gardening, crocheting and lunching with her best friends, Sara Leslie and Dody Bandy.

Debbie, Terry, Donna and Kim want to thank Dr. David Doering, Judy Gladish and the staff at Norton Oncology Group for their care and compassion over the last three years. Jane's children also wish to thank their families, friends and co-workers for their understanding, support and assistance, allowing the children to spend quality time with their mother in her last weeks.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. at Pearson-Rattermans Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. on Friday, October 5, 2012.

Jane will be laid to rest with her husband at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood immediately following the service at Pearson-Ratterman Brothers at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012.
