Catherine Mary Dattilo Meredith Obituary
MEREDITH, CATHERINE MARY DATTILO, 97, of Louisville, went to her heavenly Father surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

She was the last survivor of nine children of Anthony and Marina Dattilo and was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Joseph I. Meredith, Sr.

Catherine was a happy person and loved to smile. She enjoyed watching her favorite tv shows - the Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and loved playing cards. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1937. She was a member of St. Helen's Altar Society, a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and St. Basil's Senior Citizen Center, in addition to being a former member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother of five children, sons, Joseph Meredith, Jr. and Steve Meredith (Ann); daughters; Mary Pickerill (Bruce), Marina Holt (Paul), and Joyce Sathoff (Dave); eight grandchildren, Amy Pickerill Redington (John), Amber Pickerill, David Salahshor, Arianne Austin (Jason), Matthew Holt, Ben, Rachel, and Maria Meredith; and one great-grandchild to carry on her name, Catherine Redington.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday, Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mary Queen of Peace (St. Denis Campus), 4205 Cane Run Road, with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery.
