WINTERS, DALE ORIN, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on March 12, 2014.

Dale was a devoted member of Crestwood United Methodist Church and an Air Force veteran. He was born and raised in Carrollton, OH. Dale graduated from the University of Akron where he played varsity football.

Dale was an entrepreneur during his professional career. After many years in the bank equipment business with several manufacturers, he later founded Bank Ease, Inc., of Crestwood, KY, where he proudly employed and support many local families. Dale also served his community through many local agencies and boards, including the Oldham County School Board and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Winters; and a brother, Herb Winters and his wife, Betty Winters.

His wife of 62 years, Ruth Foreman Winters was the love of his life. They were inseparable and he cared for her until his dying day. Dale and Ruth have three children, Bruce Winters, Colleen Winters, and Heather Winters Alford (Hank); 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Ralph Winters. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Crestwood United Methodist Church, burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the service.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be given to Crestwood United Methodist Church.
