CARTER, DAVID FORD, 20, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012.

He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church. David was a devoted son and brother with great music and artistic ability.
He was an animal lover, guitar player and loved his car.
David was surrounded by great family and friends and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Ford Ponder.
He is survived by his father, Jeff Carter (Katrina); mother, Deborah Faith (Mark); sisters, Bevin Freiberger (Adam) and Megan Lewis; grandparents, Claude and Betty Braden of Scottsburg, IN, Marilyn and David Carter of Louisville and William and Catherine Haynes of Sellersburg, IN; nephew, Wade Freiberger; niece, Josie Freiberger; aunt, Tammy Dickson (Rex); uncles, Leonard Ponder and Greg Carter (Beverly); and great-aunts, Dolores Handy and Bea Gibson.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road with burial in Scottsburg Memorial Cemetery, Scottsburg, IN. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
