FLORES, DEBORAH CECELIA, 61, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

She was a Kentucky Colonel , enjoyed cooking at Lighthouse Community Center , won many ribbons for her cooking at the Kentucky State Fair and held "cooking school" for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Meffert.
She is survived by her husband, Carlos Everett Flores; children, Dawn Hall (Glenn), Buffy Sexton, Debi Hanes (Ted), Bo Flores (Donda) and Cindy Jackson; grandchildren, Samantha Jo, Ivory Rose and Zane Robert Hall, Alexander James Sexton, Theodore Everett, Gabriel Alexander and Sophia Marie Hanes, Danielle Bagshaw, Alexander Joseph, Haylee Michelle and Avery Noel Flores, and Amber Janelle and Mandy Jolyn Jackson; mother, Armida Meffert; and brothers, Raymond, Ricky and Kenny Meffert.
Her funeral is noon Friday at Summit Heights United Methodist Church, 7400 Outer Loop with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
