DAMICO, ELPIDIO, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Essex Nursing Home.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company, and was a member of Millcreek VFW Post 5421 and the American Legion Post 220 he also retired from the Air Force where he served in World War II and the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie; son, August; and brothers, Pete and Michael Damico.

He is survived by daughter, Phyllis Ann Delia; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 2 - 7 p.m. Thursday.
