BALLOW, JAMES C., 74, of Munfordville, KY, passed away peacefully October 16, 2013 at his residence in Munfordville.

He was originally from Louisville and was the son of the late Andrew and Pauline Ballow. James was a Navy veteran, a lifetime member of Bass Masters, a lifetime member of VFW Post 5421, a member of the Valley Station Masonic Lodge and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He loved fishing, working in the yard, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Janice Ballow; a proud father of Bonnie Fontana, of Munfordville, James E. Ballow, of Nevada, Scott (Cindy) Ballow, of Wisconsin and Penny (William) Armstrong, of Shepherdsville, KY; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Danny (Karen) Ballow, of Texas, and Charles and Joseph (Lisa) Ballow, of Florida; sister, Virginia (Frank) Bickel, of Louisville.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. CST Sunday at the Camp Ground United Methodist Church in Bonnieville, KY.
