James Waddell Obituary
He retired from I.C.I America, was a member of the Sellersburg American Legion Post #204, Sellersburg Moose Lodge, and Speed Golf Course.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Curl Waddell; brothers, Calvin, Wynland, Harold "Tommy", Bobby and Charles"CL" Waddell; and two sisters, Margoleen Sexton and Margie Byrd.
Surviving are wife, Edith Waddell of Jeffersonville, IN; daughters, Shelia (David) Ransom of Sellersburg, IN, Lida (Dan) Shoop of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Kayla Shoop, Cassandra Waddell, Bobbi Sue Waddell, Jenny Shoop, Jessie Shoop, Patrick Thornbury, Elizabeth Ransom, Margoleen Ransom and Davide Lewis.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with entombment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. on Sunday and anytime after noon on Monday until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
