BEAUERLE, JAMES L. "BUD," 83, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 peacefully with his family by his side.

He was retired from Naval Ordnance Station and was a Navy veteran of World War II and was stationed in the Pacific.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Florence Kruse Beauerle; and two grandchildren, Keith and Joseph Hess.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Hess, Florence (Flo) Motley and Lauren Lechleiter (Greg); two sons, David (Mary Jo) and Daniel (Hattie) Beauerle; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Schiller at Kentucky Streets with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenue.

A special thanks from the family to all the staff and caregivers of the Palliative Care Unit and Four North of Baptist Hospital East.
