HARRIS, JAMIE "J.T.," 43, of Shepherdsville, returned to Heavenly Father Thursday, May 9, 2013.
Mr. Harris was a 1988 Bullitt Central High School graduate, and a Lambda Ki Alpha at Murray State University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree. He was a safety engineer for JV Resources. Mr. Harris was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Bullitt County Rod and Gun Club. He played softball with the Six Pac League and was an avid U of K fan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Hugh Harris; mother, Nancy Nance (Thomas); sister, Suzette Johnson (Russell); nieces, Addi, Cami and Lilli; a special love in his life, Michelle Crump and her daughter, Destiney; aunt, Michele Bowling (Tim); cousins, Nathan and Brad; uncle, Bobby Glover; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
