ALVEY, JANET CHARLENE, 72 of Pendleton, KY, passed away on October 30, 2013 at Baptist Healthcare Northeast after an extended illness.
She was the former Janet Terry and graduated from Southern High School.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Melvin S. Alvey, her sons Mike Alvey (Alfred), Greg Alvey (Pamela), her cherished granddaughter Faith Nicole, and her sister Judy Derossett (Jerry).
Funeral service: noon Saturday at Pearson's 149 Breckenridge Lane with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday 10 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Research.
